The story so far
2000–2001
In the October of 2000 the disaster took its run. The remaining of the band Wolfskind (with name: Dennis, Evert, Nils) sized their plan to continue their career in the music business and together with Hannes they founded the Magnificent Heroes. From now on they played in the following cast:
- Dennis :: Vocals
- Evert :: Guitar
- Hannes :: Drums + Screams
- Nils :: Bass
In the summer of 2001, right after the recording of their really first song—the Black-Metal-smasher »Committing The Rotting Relics«—the band was faced with the scary message: Hannes is dead!!! Or sick, after all the time it cannot exactly be told how it was.
Being left without a drummer the Magnificent Heroes searched for a substitute, but every try was accomponied by sentences like: »Well, this will not work, you are under my musical level!« So the last possible way is chosen and Dennis placed his microphone next to the drums because from now on he is responsible for the drumkit. From this day on the cast looks like this:
- Dennis :: Vocals + Drums
- Evert :: Guitar + Backing Vocals
- Nils :: Bass
2002–2004
Month after month of practising and for not nearer defined reasons the Magnificent Heroes lay their musical focus on Punk (rumors tell they just weren't able to play something else).
Right in the middle of the development of their first own songs another bad news: Nils wants to go! He leaves the town to find his luck somewhere far away. Without a resolution by the United Nations Dennis and Evert started a war of liberation to bring Nils back home, there he's put in chains to prevent another escape.
Often interupted in their practising routine until it was on November the 19th in 2004 that it finally happened: The Magnificent Heroes are playing their first concert. On a small band-festival they played in front of about 30 people—and nobody threw them off the stage!
